Hail and well met!
I’m Scot Newbury, the guy on the other side of the screen. In this case the computer screen but as I’ve been gaming for nearly 30 years I’ve seen my fair share of time on both sides of a GM screen as well.
Who am I? Well, I’m a 40-something (okay just turned 40), have been married for 15 years and have three great kids. My daytime identity is that of a mild-mannered Instructional Designer (I write course ware for the training staff where I work) and chauffeur (dad, can you take me . . . .)
I started of Dice and Dragons back in December of 2005 with a simple goal – give something back to the gaming community. Over the years I’ve read a lot of great articles online, met some great folks and felt that it was time to contribute something as well.
Well, that’s just a small glimpse of Scot Newbury and if you’re a gamer like I am, stick around and take a peek at some of the posts or maybe even subscribe as I look forward to sharing stories and tips with you in the furture.
If you have an idea or suggestion for a topic please feel free to email me at snewbury@gmail.com.

May your dice roll well!
